A few days have passed since MIPIM 2025 came to an end, and it is the perfect time to reflect on the lessons and key takeaways that shaped the world’s premier property event in the stunning location of Cannes. The exhibition brings together over 20,000 professionals annually, with participants from 90 countries and more than 300 national and corporate pavilions. 

For another consecutive year, MIBS Group proudly participated in this prestigious event as part of the Greek Pavilion, strategically located in the heart of the Palais des Festivals at Riviera Hall 7. Organized by Enterprise Greece, the pavilion showcased key players from the Greek real estate ecosystem highlighting the country's exceptional investment opportunities. 

This year, MIPIM started with the “Housing Matters!” conference, highlighting the importance that residential property industry holds in today’s world. It was an all-day event with sessions and workshops where industry leaders, investors, developers, and stakeholders from across the globe analyzed the mismatch between housing supply and demand, explored collaborative solutions for affordable housing and discussed new housing models to address current and future needs.   

On 11 March 2025, Dr. Mario Draghi delivered an insightful keynote to open MIPIM 2025. The former President of the European Central Bank and Italian Prime Minister examined the economic shifts shaping local, European, and international investment and shared tangible takeaways for MIPIM delegates. 

From March 10-14, interesting conference sessions and panels from key markets around the world, ranging from Germany and UK to Saudi Arabia, Africa and US, presented useful insights and real estate trends per market. A special highlight of the event this year were the AI lectures organized on 12 March 2025 providing a high-level understanding of AI to senior real estate leaders, and key information on how technology can modify the entire decision-making frameworks. 

During the event our team deeply engaged in thought-provoking panel discussions, high-level networking and face-to-face meetings, exploring the latest real estate trends and opportunities within Greece’s dynamic residential property market. 

The welcoming cocktail hosted by Enterprise Greece set the stage for meaningful connections among the Greek delegates and insightful conversations, which were reinforced by an insightful breakfast event the following day. In collaboration with Deloitte, this exclusive Breakfast Discussion under the theme “Exploring European Real Estate and Hospitality Trends: The Greek Case Study” gathered leading Greek real estate and hospitality companies alongside international investors to discuss recent market developments, emerging trends and investment opportunities in Greece’s real estate sector.

Later that day, Deloitte delivered a compelling presentation on the latest Real Estate Insights from Europe & Greece, analyzing the current investment landscape and highlighting interest in the Greek market under prevailing economic conditions. 

One of the key discussions at MIPIM 2025 was the panel on "Branded Residences with a Focus on Greece", organized by Enterprise Greece in collaboration with Savills. Featuring the CEO of Enterprise Greece and top investors currently operating in the Greek market, the session explored the evolution of branded residences, market trends, investment potential, and the influence of international hospitality brands in shaping this growing sector. 

Attending MIPIM 2025 - where the most influential figures from all sectors of the global property industry come together - was both an invaluable experience and an excellent opportunity for MIBS Group. Beyond fostering meaningful connections, MIPIM accelerates the transformation of the built environment, allowing for concrete solutions and far-reaching development opportunities.
